This list of software includes programs I use frequently or daily. Most are free, but if a program is paid, it will be noted in parentheses.

Whether you’re coordinating strategies during a game or collaborating on a project, TeamSpeak provides a reliable space for clear communication and teamwork.)

Coding

  • Visual Studio (Visual Studio is Microsoft’s integrated development environment (IDE) that supports multiple languages, including Visual Basic, C#, and Python. It’s a robust platform for coding, debugging, and managing projects for web, mobile, and cloud applications.)
  • Python (Python is a versatile programming language known for its simple syntax and readability, making it ideal for beginners and experts alike. File Transfers

  • FileZilla (FileZilla is a popular, open-source FTP client that simplifies file transfers between a computer and a server. Known for its user-friendly interface, it supports FTP, SFTP, and FTPS protocols, making it a reliable choice for managing website files and server connections.)

Web Browsers

  • Google Chrome (Google Chrome is a fast and popular web browser known for its clean interface and strong performance. It supports a wide range of extensions, making it versatile for various needs, from productivity to entertainment.)

SSH Tools

VPNs

  • NordVPN (NordVPN is a popular VPN service known for its strong security features, fast connection speeds, and global server network. It encrypts internet traffic and hides your IP address, making it ideal for secure browsing, streaming, and protecting privacy online.)
  • WindScribe (Windscribe is a VPN service that provides both free and paid plans, offering solid privacy protection and a variety of server locations. It’s known for its user-friendly interface and unique features like the ability to block ads and trackers, making it a versatile option for privacy-conscious users.)

Archive Files

  • 7-Zip (7-Zip is a free, open-source file archiver known for its high compression ratio and support for numerous file formats, including ZIP, RAR, and its own 7z format. It’s lightweight, efficient, and widely used for compressing and decompressing files, making it a staple tool for file management on Windows.)
