FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is Nuvorix.com about?

Nuvorix.com is a tech-focused blog where I share guides, tips, and resources about various software, hardware, and productivity tools. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned tech enthusiast, you’ll find useful content here.

Who runs Nuvorix.com?

Nuvorix.com is run entirely by me, a tech enthusiast. I handle everything from writing blog posts to managing the site’s technical aspects. This blog is a passion project where I share my knowledge, experience, and insights on technology, from software tips to hardware recommendations, and everything in between.

Why did you start this blog?

I started this blog as a creative outlet to share my knowledge and passion for tech. I enjoy helping others understand and use tools that can improve their workflow and productivity. Plus, it’s a fun way for me to stay engaged with technology outside of my regular job.

One of the reasons I make guides is because I know how frustrating it can be when a guide works up until the end, and then you hit a roadblock, forcing you to redo everything. I create guides that work for me when setting up new projects, so others can avoid that frustration. I also love sharing the free tools I use every day, because I believe that not everything we rely on should cost a fortune. In a world where food, gas, and living expenses are constantly rising, it’s nice to know that there are still tools out there that are free and accessible to everyone.

Do you make money from this blog?

No, I don’t make any money directly from the blog at this point. This is purely a passion project where I share my knowledge and experience. However, I do accept donations if readers find the content valuable and want to support my work and time. Your contributions help me continue creating content and maintaining the site.

Can I donate to support the site?

Yes, donations are welcome! If you find the content on Nuvorix.com helpful and would like to support the site, you can visit our Donate page for more information.

How often do you post new content?

I aim to post at least one or two new articles each week. However, the frequency may vary depending on the complexity of the topics being covered or how much spare time I have.

This is a hobby of mine, and alongside blogging, I work full-time in IT and enjoy gaming in my free time.

Do you accept content suggestions?

Yes, I love hearing from my readers! If you have any suggestions for topics you’d like me to cover, feel free to reach out via the Contact page.

How can I stay updated with new posts?

Currently, there is no newsletter available, so you’ll need to check back manually for updates. Keep visiting the site regularly to see new posts, guides, and resources as they are published.

I might add something later to address this if there is enough interest.

Can I use your content on my own website?

All the content on Nuvorix.com is protected by copyright. If you want to use or reference any content, please make sure to provide proper credit and link back to the original post. For more details, visit our Copyright Policy.

Do you use AI to write your content?

Yes, I use AI tools to assist with certain aspects of content creation, such as polishing and tuning sentences, generating ideas, and even helping with scripts. Since I’m not a native English speaker, but a single soul from Norway sharing my ideas and passion, these tools help refine the language and structure to better communicate with an international audience.

However, I personally write and review all articles to ensure the content remains relevant, accurate, and reflects my own voice. My process involves writing the sentences in my own way, then asking AI (like ChatGPT) for suggestions to improve sentence structure or correct any errors, while keeping the essence of my writing intact.

How do you select the tools and software listed on the site? Are they all free?

I only list software and tools that I personally use and recommend. The recommendations are based on my own experiences and preferences, with the goal of providing reliable and useful resources. While I primarily focus on free tools, there may be some paid tools or services that I find valuable and worth mentioning. I always make it clear if a tool is paid, and I’ll explain why I think it’s worth the cost.

How can I contact you?

If you have any questions, suggestions, or feedback, feel free to reach out via the Contact page. I’m happy to hear from you!

Is your content sponsored or affiliated with any companies?

As of now, the content on Nuvorix.com is not sponsored, and I am not affiliated with any of the companies whose products or services I recommend. All reviews and recommendations are based on personal use and experience.

Do you offer consulting or personalized advice?

At the moment, I do not offer consulting services. However, I’m happy to answer any general questions you have via the Contact page.

How do you choose the topics for your blog posts?

I select topics based on my own experiences, interests, and what I believe will be most helpful to my readers. Often, I write about tools, software, and techniques I use regularly, or I cover topics that have sparked my curiosity. I also consider feedback from my readers when planning new content.

Do you update older content?

Yes, I make it a priority to revisit and update older posts when necessary, especially if there are new tools, techniques, or information that improve the original guide. You can always check back to see if any updates have been made to your favorite articles.

Do you provide detailed troubleshooting guides?

Yes, I aim to create in-depth troubleshooting guides that are practical and easy to follow. I know how frustrating it can be when things don’t work as expected, so I try to cover as many potential issues as possible to help you resolve problems quickly.

Can I contribute to your blog or suggest improvements?

While I currently write all content myself (with the help of AI), I always appreciate feedback and suggestions. If you have ideas for topics or ways to improve the blog, feel free to reach out via the Contact page. I’m always open to hearing from readers and improving the site based on your input.

What do you do when you’re not blogging?

When I’m not working on the blog or at my full-time job, I enjoy gaming and experimenting with different tech setups. I’m a big fan of open-world games, like DayZ, as well as shooter games. Simulation games are also high on my list of favorites. I love diving into VR experiences too, with Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx being among my top picks. Otherwise, I’m probably watching a movie or binging a series.

Can I follow you on social media?

Currently, there are no dedicated social media accounts for Nuvorix.com, but you can always check back on the website for the latest updates. I may consider adding social media channels in the future, depending on interest and demand.

How long does it take you to make an article or post?

Creating articles is time-consuming and takes up a lot of my spare time. I aim to make each article thorough, interesting, and easy to understand. Depending on the complexity, writing one article usually takes me anywhere from two to four hours (just writing). If the article is more complex, and counting the time to set up a service or a server, it could take some more time. I don’t want to rush through articles, as I believe incomplete or rushed content isn’t really helpful in most cases. My goal is to ensure every post is detailed and provides real value.

What feature pages or content can I see in the near future?

I’m currently working on a Resources page that will showcase my favorite free tools, handy websites, and inspiring YouTubers that help me stay productive throughout the day. This page will serve as a hub for discovering tools and content that I personally use and recommend to boost your workflow and creativity.

I’m also developing a “Start Here” section for people new to IT or those with some experience. I aim to keep all my posts as detailed as possible, whether it’s setting up servers, troubleshooting, or other tech-related tasks.

Since the website is new and currently has only a few posts, there will be more content coming soon. I’m continually working to improve the pages as time goes by. Feel free to suggest any improvements or content ideas via the Contact page.
